Arisa Ortiz, MD

Director of Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology, and a Clinical Professor of Dermatology

Arisa E. Ortiz, M.D. is Director of Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology and Clinical Professor at UC San Diego. She trained in Mohs Surgery at UCSD and completed her laser fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Wellman Center for Photomedicine. Dr. Ortiz has 60+ publications. She is frequently invited to speak at AAD, ASDS and ASLMS and is past President of ASLMS. Her awards include the ASLMS Young Investigator Award and Newsweek America's Best Dermatologists. Her research focuses on laser treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer. Follow her @arisaortizmd.
