Lynn Jeffers, MD, MBA is a plastic surgeon in Southern California and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association. She serves as Chief Medical Officer of St. John’s Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital Camarillo, Medical Director of the St. John’s Integrated Breast Center, and maintains an independent private practice. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Jeffers has over 30 years of leadership experience in organized medicine at the county, state, and national levels. She has received numerous honors for leadership and service, including multiple AMA and ASPS awards, most recently the 2023 AMA Foundation Excellence in Medicine—Dedication to the Profession Award. As President of ASPS and as a CMO during the COVID-19 pandemic, she led national and hospital-based response efforts, with ASPS recognized by the White House and Surgeon General for sourcing millions of masks. Dr. Jeffers earned her MD and MBA from the University of Michigan and is a sought-after keynote speaker on leadership, health policy, innovation, and healthcare strategy.
